Martha and Richard Melman Family Bicuspid Aortic Valve Program
The goal of our Bicuspid Aortic Valve Program is to provide comprehensive leading-edge care and treatment to patients diagnosed with bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) disease as well as their first-degree relatives.
We partner with you to offer expert clinical care through a team of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and dedicated BAV nurse coordinator, while working to advance the care and treatment of BAV through research and collaboration.
The program allows us to coordinate screening, clinic visits, imaging studies including 4D MRI and follow-up for patients with known BAV, newly diagnosed BAV, and first-degree relatives of patients with BAV. All BAV patients will have a complete continuum of care from diagnosis, medical management and surgical intervention if necessary.
